We are a family owned and operated Baltimore based company, dedicated to providing exceptional and reliable service for reasonable and competitive prices. My wife and I both come from legal backgrounds, so we never imagined ourselves owning a diversified landscape Baltimore based company.   My wife earned her law degree from the University of Baltimore and went onto pass the Maryland Bar exam.  Her interests in law dealt primarily with business and contractual law.  After an early retirement due to a line-of-duty injury from the Baltimore City Police Department, I began taking college classes at Dundalk Community College. I earned a degree with studies focused on business management and accounting, which only reinforced a three-year business and accounting vocational certification I had received earlier.  I continued my education at the University of Baltimore in their Business Administration program.  While continuing my education and raising our first born, I worked for myself in the landscape business, which focused on residential demographics.  I had a lot of experience in masonry and carpentry, which I learned from working with my uncles, in my youth, in their home improvement businesses.  I found a new love and passion in artistic landscaping and returned to Dundalk Community College to earn a second degree, this time in Horticulture.  We, with several other family members, have studied every aspect of horticulture and landscape construction, which seems more like a hobby than a job.

Our residential business was originally small enough that most work could be scheduled for the weekends or be completed throughout the week by family employees, which left me available to seek out other avenues of learning.  There is a lot to be said for an education from a Maryland College or University; however, just as much can be equally said for practical hands-on work experience.  With that in mind, the Lord led me to go to work for some of the largest commercial landscape companies in Baltimore and surrounding Maryland area, such as RAR Outdoor Services and TruGreen Landcare.  During my employment with such companies, I observed and worked under various styles of management and administration in dealing with commercial clients and company employees.  I learned a lot about methods that I wanted to emulate and those that I would never use in my own business.  Two years later and two more children later I completed my research into commercial landscaping and turned with the utmost confidence to focus and devote all of my time and resources into growing a dynamic Baltimore based landscaping company that raises the bar in this industry.  

In closing, Angel Art Landscape, LLC has a plethora of strengths, that allows us to not only rival the larger Baltimore landscaping companies, but to also have a competitive advantage, the foremost being God.  We value the love of God, Family, and Friends before all other things.  We all possess virtues such as Trust, Loyalty, Compassion and Patience.  We have an investment not only in the success of our Baltimore company, but also an investment in the success of our clientele’, our great nation, and an investment in the growth and success of each one of our employees.
